The course starts with the science and anatomy — filler types, facial ligaments and fat pads — before moving to technique, safety and treatment of the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It is taught by Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal and our clinical team, and is the first step in our dermal filler pathway, which continues through cheeks and tear trough, jawline and chin, lips and non-surgical rhinoplasty.

What You Will Learn

- Describe the facial ligaments and fat pads, and how ageing changes them.
- Analyse each patient and choose the right product for their anatomy and skin type.
- Treat the nasolabial folds and marionette lines with safe, aseptic technique.
- Identify the danger zones and contraindications, and avoid complications.
- Carry out a full consultation, manage expectations and obtain informed consent.

How the course is assessed

Pre-study
The pre-study pack and assessment on our learning platform, completed before your practical day. Your login is issued when you book.

Theory and demonstration
Filler science, facial anatomy, product selection and safety, followed by a live demonstration by your trainer.

Practical sign-off
Your trainer observes your full patient treatment, from consultation to aftercare, and signs off your competency before your certificate is issued.

Our course material is CPD Certified by The CPD Certification Service (Member No. 7006). CPD Certification confirms that the course material meets recognised CPD standards and guidelines. Under the GMC, GDC, NMC and GPhC, CPD is self-directed and self-declared: your certificate gives you the evidence to record it. It is a record of training rather than a regulated qualification.

Yes. Every delegate treats their own patients, and models are never shared between delegates. One-to-one tuition gives you more hands-on treatments.
Should I take Botox Level 1 first?
There is no requirement to. Many practitioners take both beginners courses, in either order, as they cover different treatments and skills.
When do I receive my certificate?
Your CPD certificate is issued on the same day, once your practical competency has been signed off.
What should I take next?
