New: high-risk cosmetic procedures consultation
On 21 October 2026, the government launched a consultation proposing new restrictions on high-risk cosmetic and wellbeing procedures in England, including PRP, IV infusions and deep chemical peels.
The proposals concern practitioner eligibility and CQC registration. They are not yet law.
Consultation closes: 13 January 2027.
