The Face After Rapid Weight Loss
An estimated one in ten adults seeking aesthetic treatment may now be a current or recent GLP-1 user — higher still among women aged 35 to 60. The medication is not acting on the face. Rapid weight loss deflates the facial fat compartments faster than the skin can retract, and the result is a phenotype every aesthetic practitioner now needs to recognise, assess and time correctly.
“
The most important decision you will make with a post-GLP-1 patient is usually the decision not to treat yet.

Scope of this course
This is a knowledge-based course. It does not teach or assess injection technique, and completion does not confer competence in any injectable procedure. Practitioners must already be trained, registered, indemnified and working within their lawful scope for any treatment they go on to provide. GLP-1 receptor agonists are prescription-only medicines; decisions about them rest with the patient’s prescribing clinician, and this course does not qualify practitioners to advise on or prescribe them.
Your Certificate
What it shows
Your name, the course title and date, 1 hour of structured learning, and confirmation you passed the assessment at 80%. Issued within 5 working days of a passed submission.
Under the GMC, GDC, NMC and HCPC, CPD is self-directed and self-declared: you choose learning relevant to your scope of practice, and you record it. Your certificate gives you the evidence to do that. It is a record of training and assessment — it is not a regulated qualification, and it does not by itself establish your ongoing clinical competence.

This is our online knowledge course. We also run a separate one-day practical masterclass in post-GLP-1 facial aesthetic management, with a prerequisite of prior filler training and a maximum of eight delegates.
