About this course

A one-day, doctor-led course that equips practitioners to prevent, promptly recognise and confidently manage the complications of injectable aesthetic treatments — from common, self-limiting events to sight- and tissue-threatening emergencies such as vascular occlusion and anaphylaxis. Taught in a live, CQC-registered clinical setting with hands-on scenario stations.

  • Vascular occlusion: recognition & emergency management (hyaluronidase)

  • Anaphylaxis & acute medical emergencies (ABCDE, adrenaline)

  • Early & delayed complications: infection, nodules, biofilm

  • Botulinum toxin complications

  • Documentation, escalation, referral & reporting

  • Scenario-based practical stations & assessment
