You learn how PDRN acts on adenosine receptors in the dermis, review the clinical evidence for skin rejuvenation, periorbital improvement and hair restoration — including its limits — and treat both the face and the scalp. Taught by Dr Philippe Hamida-Pisal and Dr Jihyun Byun.
Three courses in one
Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides and Exosomes are taught together as one combined course, for one fee. In a single day you learn all three treatments, plus the microneedling technique used to apply exosomes, and how to sequence and combine them for each patient. Whichever treatment brought you to this page, you will leave able to offer all three.
Who Can Attend
We check eligibility before confirming any place. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please ask us before booking.

✔
Insurance
You will need professional indemnity insurance covering aesthetic injectables before treating patients independently
Course Fees
One fee covers all three treatments — Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides and Exosomes — plus microneedling for exosome application. All prices exclude VAT and all materials are included.

What You Will Learn
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Explain how polynucleotides (PDRN) stimulate fibroblasts, collagen synthesis and tissue repair, and where the evidence is strong or limited.
- Treat the periorbital area, mid-face and full face, and the scalp for androgenetic alopecia and diffuse thinning.
- Ask about fish and seafood allergy at every consultation, and recognise other contraindications.
- Explain how hyaluronic acid works in the dermis, and the difference between cross-linked and non-cross-linked products and dermal fillers.
- Explain what exosomes are, why they are not stem cells, and how to judge product quality and supplier evidence.
- Select products by indication, area and rheology, and recognise when a patient needs volume or a neuromodulator instead.
- Inject skin boosters and polynucleotides using bio-aesthetic points, serial puncture, microdroplet and retrograde threading.
- Apply exosomes topically after microneedling, with the right timing, quantity and aftercare.
- Sequence and combine all three treatments, with the right intervals between them.
- Manage complications including swelling, bruising, Tyndall effect and rare vascular events, with a hyaluronidase protocol review.
Practical Training and Assessment
All three treatments are practised hands-on, on live models, in an active clinical setting. With a maximum of six delegates, your trainer gives you individual technique feedback throughout the day.
✔
Skin boosters
Bio-aesthetic points, serial puncture, microdroplet and retrograde threading
✔
Polynucleotides — face
Depth, volume per point and frequency for periorbital, mid-face and full-face treatment
✔
Polynucleotides — scalp
Spacing, depth and volumes for androgenetic alopecia and diffuse thinning
✔
Microneedling and exosomes
Opening the skin barrier, then topical exosome application and aftercare
✔
Combination planning
Sequencing the three treatments and setting intervals for each patient
✔
Assessment and aftercare
Patient selection, phototype, contraindications, results timeline and maintenance

Further Information and FAQs
Polynucleotides: fish allergy
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, usually of fish origin, most often salmon or trout. A known fish or seafood allergy is a specific contraindication, and patients must be asked about it by name at every consultation.
Exosomes: UK regulatory position
Exosomes are taught as a topical treatment only, applied after microneedling. No exosome product is currently authorised for injection in the UK, and human-derived exosomes must never be injected. A CE or UKCA mark, a prescription or CQC registration does not make injection lawful. If you are looking for exosome injection training, this is not the right course.
CPD Certification
Our course material is CPD Certified by The CPD Certification Service (Member No. 7006). CPD Certification confirms that the course material meets recognised CPD standards and guidelines. It does not confirm the competence of any learner completing the course; competence is assessed by PHP Training Academy against its own assessment criteria. Under the GMC, GDC, NMC and GPhC, CPD is self-directed and self-declared: your certificate gives you the evidence to record it. It is a record of training rather than a regulated qualification.
Is it really three courses for one fee?
Yes. Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides and Exosomes are taught together in one day, with microneedling for exosome application, for one fee of £1,000 + VAT (SoMUK members £800).
Can polynucleotides treat hair loss?
Yes. The course includes a scalp protocol for androgenetic alopecia and diffuse thinning, covering spacing, depth, volumes and the treatment course.
Who should not have polynucleotides?
Patients with a known fish or seafood allergy, as most polynucleotides are of fish origin. The course covers this and the other contraindications.
Do I need injecting experience?
No. The course is suitable for practitioners new to aesthetics. A basic understanding of facial anatomy is helpful.
Do you teach exosome injection?
No. Exosomes are taught as a topical treatment after microneedling only, in line with the UK regulatory position. No exosome product is currently authorised for injection in the UK.
